Cover Details Summary
beginning of infinity cover The Beginning of Infinity: Explanations That Transform the World
by David Deutsch
★★★★★
I’ll need to reread all of my highlights to form a better review. Certain chapters were overly detailed and complex, others were eye opening in the most amazing way. This will shape my thinking for the future without a doubt.
Get well soon cover Get Well Soon: History's Worst Plagues and the Heroes Who Fought Them
by Jennifer Wright
★★★★☆
A very fun read! Wright's style of writing is very similar to science writer Mary Roach. It was both humorous and informative telling a simple history of some of the worst plagues and sicknesses humanity has ever encountered. I found it both interesting and haunting to know that Spanish Flu and other diseases went uncured and essentially are still in hibernation.Very harsh words for Woodrow Wilson, who suppressed news about the Spanish flu in service of America’s WWI effort causing hundreds of thousands of soldiers to die.

More to come soon!
