Testimonials

“What stands out most is how Ben uses empathy to inspire and encourage. He doesn’t just focus on what’s going wrong but always shifts the conversation toward solutions with a positive and encouraging mindset. When I face challenges, he’s quick to identify my strengths and help me see how I can use them to overcome obstacles.”
“I think of all my managers I’ve had you’ve been the one that’s been the most open to feedback and one that gave ME the most actionable feedback.”
“Ben has an exceptional eye for detail, and he’s always eager to collaborate on design challenges. He never imposes his own vision but instead fosters an environment of co-creation where ideas flow freely. One of the things I appreciate most about working with him is how he challenges me to develop my craft skills.”
“TO GET SAPPY. Ben you have really changed my career and transformed me a much more skilled designer and confident person and I’m ENDLESSLY GRATEFUL”

Hearing, Processing, and Acting on Feedback
We’re given frameworks, training, and more about how to provide effective, actionable feedback. However, I’ve generally found that we don’t spend as much time on how to really hear feedback, process it effectively, and then act on it over time.
Good Taste is Earned Through Obsessive Curiosity
One important belief is that you’re not born with good taste. It’s not inherent to the individual. However, it is highly informed the environment in which you live. Luckily for us, our environment and our behaviors are entirely within our control!
